1. Who we are
This privacy policy applies to the WTF Fertility website and digital products. For the purposes of UK data protection law, the data controller is WTF Fertility.
Our business address is Office 7297, 58 Peregrine Road, Hainault, Ilford, Essex, IG6 3SZ.
If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, you can reach us at hey@wtffertility.co.uk.
2. What data we collect
We only collect the data we genuinely need to run this small business and support you. Depending on how you use the site, that may include:
- Email sign-up data: your name (if provided) and email address when you request the free guide, subscribe to updates, or join a waitlist.
- Order information: your name, email address, billing details and a record of what you bought when you purchase a paid guide, journal, bundle or course. Card details are handled directly by our payment processor, Stripe, and are not stored by us.
- Account and course data: if you join the course, login details and your progress within the platform, including any messages you send to the Fertility Frankie AI support tool.
- Contact form and email correspondence: the content of any message you send us and the details you include in it.
- Analytics and cookie data: information about how you use the site, such as pages visited, device and browser type and approximate location, collected via cookies and similar technologies. See our Cookie Policy.
Please do not send us detailed medical or health information unless it is necessary. WTF Fertility is not a medical service and will never ask you to disclose sensitive personal details to us (for example health identification reference numbers, or bank details).
If you use the Fertility Frankie AI support tool, your messages may be processed and stored by our course platform provider and AI provider only so the tool can work. We do not routinely read your conversations. We would only access them where genuinely necessary to fix a technical problem or where we are legally required to do so.
3. Lawful bases for processing
Under UK GDPR we must have a lawful basis to process your personal data. We rely on the following:
- Consent: for sending marketing emails and newsletters, and for non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Contract: to process and deliver your purchases, provide course access and respond to order-related queries.
- Legitimate interests: to run, secure and improve our website and products, understand how the site is used, prevent fraud and respond to enquiries, provided this is not overridden by your rights.
- Legal obligation: where we must keep certain records, for example for tax and accounting purposes.
4. How we use your data
We use the data we collect to:
- deliver the free guide and any products or course access you have requested or bought;
- send you marketing emails and updates where you have consented, which you can opt out of at any time;
- process payments (via our payment provider, Stripe), issue receipts and keep accurate financial records;
- respond to your messages and provide support;
- operate the Fertility Frankie AI tool inside the course;
- understand and improve how the site and products perform;
- keep the site secure and prevent misuse.
5. Third-party processors
We use trusted third-party providers to run the business. These processors handle data on our behalf under appropriate agreements. They include:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| MailerLite | Email sign-ups, newsletters and automated emails |
| Stripe | Processing payments for paid products |
| Our course platform provider | Hosting the course, accounts and the Fertility Frankie AI tool |
| Netlify | Website hosting and delivery |
| Google Analytics 4 | Website analytics |
| Meta Pixel, Pinterest Tag and TikTok Pixel | Advertising and measurement |
Each provider has its own privacy policy explaining how it handles data. We only share what is necessary for these services to function.
6. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, understand how it is used and, where you consent, for marketing. You can manage your choices through the cookie banner on the site. For full details, please read our Cookie Policy.
7. Data retention
We keep your personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes set out above, or for as long as the law requires.
- Marketing data: until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it, after which it is deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period.
- Order and financial records: kept for 6 years to meet tax and accounting obligations.
- Course and account data: kept while your access is active and for a reasonable period afterwards.
8. International transfers
Some of our providers may store or process data outside the UK. Where your information is transferred outside the UK, we rely on UK "adequacy" regulations where they apply, or on the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, so your data stays protected to UK standards.
9. Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the following rights over your personal data:
- Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Rectification: ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure: ask us to delete your data in certain circumstances.
- Restriction: ask us to limit how we use your data.
- Object: object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time.
- Portability: request your data in a portable format in certain circumstances.
- Withdraw consent: withdraw consent for marketing or non-essential cookies at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hey@wtffertility.co.uk. If you are ever unhappy with how we have handled your data, please get in touch and we will do our best to put things right.
10. Children
Our products and services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will investigate and carry out any appropriate remedial action.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. Significant changes may also be communicated by email where appropriate.
